Clarity Watermark Fluid (3.4 ounces)
Product Description
One of the best watermark fluids available, Clarity Watermark Fluid highlights density changes created by watermarks or stamp repairs, but does not allow the printed image on the face of the stamp to bleed through. By making the image of a watermark or a repair clearly visible, collectors are provided an opportunity to study a watermark or identify unsuspected stamp repairs. The fluid evaporates slowly and leaves no residue; it is made from non-flammable, non-toxic and non-hazardous materials and contains no solvents, CFCs or HCFCs. Clairty Watermark Fluid will not affect inks, adhesives or taggents on stamps.

It appears to work very well, does not stink, and spares our fragile ozone layer further damage.

Watermarks revealed!

This watermark detecting fluid works really well. I am going through older issues that have been in my collection for years, and determining the Scott CV based on the watermark. You need a black tray - a plastic tray that comes with frozen dinners is what I use - and just add a few drops on the stamp that you put in the tray. Watermarks revealed! Dries really fast, and you can mount the stamp in your album within 30 seconds. This is a must-have for any serious collector!

Lot nicer to use than the aliphatic hydrocarbon stuff from Prinz which has a lot of warnings on the label. I all ready have some respiratory problems so this product fits the bill for me.
